Fulcrum Wins Helios Apollo Award for Employee Development
Centreville, VA – May 29, 2014 – Fulcrum wins the 2014 Helios Apollo “Tessera” Award for innovative employee development and engagement practices. Hosted by Helios HR, the breakfast awards ceremony took place at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner with more than 500 Washington leaders in attendance on Wednesday, May 28, 2014.

Finalists were judged by an independent panel of senior HR executives and industry leaders amongst organizations of similar size in six main award categories: Ena (1-50 employees), Thio (51-100 employees), Tria (101-250 employees), Tessera (251-750 employees), Pente (1,000+ employees) and Hercules (Nonprofits).
Nomination highlights noted Fulcrum assists in furthering employee’s professional growth by hosting a quarterly speed mentoring program in which employees meet with senior leaders in 10-minute time slots. More than 90 percent of participants said they planned to continue a relationship with their mentors. Furthermore, employees and leadership come together at an annual leadership summit which represents 10-15% of Fulcrum’s workforce to strategize on where the industry is heading, determine professional training goals, technologies and other areas to focus on in the future.
