August 2007 — Fulcrum IT is a member of the BAE Systems team that was awarded the GSA Alliant Large Business Contract. The scope of the Alliant GWAC includes any and all components of an integrated information technology (IT) solution, including all current and any new technologies which may emerge during the life cycle of the contract and IT systems and services in support of national security systems. The contract provides IT solutions through performance of a broad range of services which may include the integration of various technologies critical to the services being acquired.
The Alliant Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is a ten-year Multiple Award/Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (MA/IDIQ) contract (five-year base, one five-year option) with a $50 billion contract ceiling. It supports various task order contract types: Fixed Price (FPI, FPAF), Cost (CPFF, CPIF, CPAF), Time and Materials, and Labor Hour. The contract is for use by federal and Department of Defense agencies.
According to Len Kaplan, Senior Vice President, “This Alliant contract will replace several other GSA vehicles that have been successfully used by government agencies to procure IT services. We are pleased to be with BAE Systems and are looking forward to a long, successful, and mutually rewarding relationship as this contract matures.”
